Firstly, I am no one to comment, seeing how inexperience I am when it comes to photography (lacking a photographer's eye, ergo comments may sound dumb, heh), but anyhow, just a personal opinion, Cha's photo looks a little too monotonous. Perhaps, some sort of lens was being used, and the whole idea is to make it monotonous? Heh, like I said, I've got no idea at all. Help me with this ya :), is the focus supposed to be on the 'ray of light appearing from clouds', or the lamppost? I'd go with clouds??

im sorry to say that i start my day at 10 am in the morning, and there's only a very short distance from my house to the office. and once im in the office, im all locked up with normal things which i dont find it 'morning'. so the short 10 mins journey, i have to snap anything i see with my pathetic iphone. sadly, i dont bring my dslr to work everyday. but i promise i will take the photo with dslr on weekend mornings. when you only have an iphone, there is really nothing much you can do. no aperture, no shutter speed to play with.

btw, to me, the focus of the pic. the gloomy feel. the 'feel', not the object. thursday is a drag. :/
hey btw, seejayel, if i have my dslr this morning, i will probably zoom in to the two lines, and just the two lines with the sky. and the two lines will be the focus point. cut away the buildings. or make the blocks by the side, OUT OF FOCUS. but different people have different shooting styles.
but i must say A.C. did a good job on his today. very nice. :)
